You can look at the candidates in several ways. But if you're resolute in firing the guy, click on Release Coach (you'll see the control in the bottom right corner) and confirm your selection, then head back to the Sign Coach screen. If your head coach hasn't been released, but you want him to be, pop out of this menu quickly and go to the Coaching Staff selection. If your head coaching job has been made vacant, look to sign a head coach, then fill in the other positions. If you notice the Position Offered is grayed out, that's the only thing they want to do. When looking for an Offensive Coordinator, make sure the Offense rating is high, and for DC, that Defense is. You can cycle through the various positions a guy would accept by moving to the Position Offered field and pressing right and left. By clicking on one, you'll see the coach position he hopes to fill, and his desired salary. If a coach is already being pursued by another team, you'll notice an offer next to his name. Those marked in red are the ones you need.īelow, you'll see a list of all potential coaches. HC=Head Coach, OC=Offensive Coordinator, DC=Defensive Coordinator, and ST=Special Teams.
